All very good tips! #3 definitely the most overlooked by students. They tend to put EVERYTHING down to "stupid mistakes". Studying mistakes in depth is a strong way to learn.

Hiii Markos, I have a question. Is it a good idea to take HL math and HL biology together? Im considering studying biology but don't know if I will need HL math....

Hey Markos! I remember you saying that for your chem IA you looked at hydrogen peroxide decomposition, and I am starting to think about doing this, however, I have nooo idea how I can come from a unique angle! I really wanted to determine the activation energy of an iodination reaction by measuring the absorbance rate using a colorimeter, however I can no longer do this because my school does not have this sort of equipment (we only have a spectrophometer)! :( So I just really wanted to ask you for any advice as I finish IB in November 2023, and really want to finish my chem IA asap, but am struggling to think of an idea that has something unique in the methodology.

I’ve got exactly 1 month until my mocks(it will start on the 28th of May and finish on the 8th of June), which will be a major determinant of my PG’s. I’m struggling to keep a consistent study schedule as my school will not be giving us days off to study.

The subjects I’m worried about are Biology, Math, and Econ.

Should I dedicate each day to a different subject? Or spend each day a certain number of hours on each? I don’t know. Especially since Biology requires at least 2-3 hours of studying and revision for each sub-topic.

Also for Economics, did you use a specific study strategy? And do you know any resource that has real world examples for paper 1? We only did unit 2 so I hope it’s not that hard

For maths, Did you use revision village? If so, should focus more on the hard questions of each topic? Please let me know

Sorry if this a bit long but there are just so many different things people are saying and I don’t know what to follow.

Thank you in advance!

These are really helpful tips can you also share how'd you revise for the maths before your final exam by choosing one of the topic from maths aa ? Cause I also watched through your revision tips and scheduling them before test that helped me guide making plans for the other subjects but not really for maths
