Most Easy Way To Cut Vinyl Lattice Panels

This is the easiest way to cut vinyl lattice that I've come across and I wanted to share it with you.

I had to replace a couple vinyl lattice sections that were blown away from a hurricane. The vinyl lattice needed to be cut to size. I show you how I did it. In the past I have tried other ways to cut vinyl lattice and something would end up going wrong. For example I've used a circular saw and the vinyl would chip or crack so I found a better foolproof way to cut the vinyl.

Great video! One thing I could add is to mention is that vinyl lattice expands and contracts quite a bit on larger panels with temperature changes so be sure to allow a bit of space for these size changes especially pre drill holes for the screws larger than the screws used and cut the panels slightly shorter than measured or you will see the panels bowing quite a bit in the hot summers.

this was a huge help - used your ideas today - worked awesome with the multi too w/round blade like that. THANK YOU

Circular saw with a finishing blade works very well too and is much much faster.
I've used the circular saw hundreds of times without any issues

The best way to cut any vinyl product is with a circular saw with a fine tooth blade turned backwards. That's how I cut all my vinyl siding with a cutting table. That is if your doing long straight cuts of coarse. That being said, i love those oscillating saws, lets you do work and get into places no other saw can. Good job

Good tips, maybe alumnus or stainless gutter screws will work. I’m heading out today to fix a lattice with no idea what it’s really going to look like until I get there. I have an oscillating tool, so definitely bringing it along

Good video. I used a plywood blade on my circular saw for that years ago. It seemed to work good with the small teeth.

Great job and tips.👍 You can also turn your circle saw blade around backwards and cut it without problems. It works on plastic siding also. Thanks new subscriber liked 👍 hello from Kentucky mountains USA

Hey good job but I used my hedge/branch cutters. Easy peasy! Not power operated, just hand power and was as simple as 1-2-3. I’m 61 and my long branch cutters, Bypass pruners!
