Ashwagandha or Rhodiola Rosea? Hmm, tough call! I have been taking ashwagandha and rhodiola rosea for more than 5 years, neatly observing their pros and cons. While both are pretty intriguing nootropics to start with from using them myself, but in this video I will pen down and talk exactly about why one of these is my favourite! I will also walk you through their side-effects, benefits and the optimum dosage to begin with.

How ashwagandha works is using chemicals that may help to calm the brain, help with inflammation, lower blood pressure, and positively alter the immune system. Ashwagandha is used for anxiety, ADHD, balance, OCD, trouble sleeping, stress, depression and more. One of the things I like about Ashwagandha most is it's ability as adaptogen to help the body cope with daily stressors.

Rhodiola is a herb that gows in the mountainous regions of Europe and Asia.
Its roots are adaptogens, meaning they help your body adapt to stress. Its root contain more than 140 ingredients, some of the two most potent of which are rosavin and salidroside.
Many European countries have used rhodiola to treat anxiety, fatigue and depression for centuries.
It’s widely used as a dietary supplement for its many health benefits.
These are three research-based health benefits of Rhodiola rosea.

1. Decreases stress,
It has been known as an adaptogen which increases your resistance to stress. to better cope during stressful times.

2. Can Fight Fatigue
Anxiety and poor sleep are a few factors that can contribute to fatigue, which thus will result in feelings of physical and mental tiredness.
Its adaptogenic properties, rhodiola is known to eliminate fatigue

3. Could Help Reduce Symptoms of Depression
When people experience depression, it’s thought to occur when neurotransmitters are unbalanced. Rhodiola rosea has been suggested to have antidepressant properties by balancing the neurotransmitters..

Ashwaghandas is great to make you feel better,

As a proud Scandinavian Id still say Ashwagandha. Ashwagandha has legitimately noticeable effects. For me. It both deals with anxiety and OCD and boosts energy levels.

I really like the acute effects of Shoden but none of the Ashwagandha extracts I’ve tried seem to do much in the long run. It’s been a while since I’ve taken Rhodiola, I plan on buying some with my next nootropics order. I just took 3 grams of Piracetam for the first time in a while and I’m loving it! Great video Mike

I take a Ashwagandha capsule when I want to guarantee a good nights sleep. It always works great
at least psychosomatically ;) The power of the mind is amazing..
Suggestion: Do a video on "Finding your sweet spot" I have a feeling it will find a broader audience. I would be curious if it gets more hits than nootropics, from the title alone ;)

I personally take New Chapter Magnesium + Ashwagandha Supplement, 325 mg with Magnesium Glycinate at bedtime and it really helps with sleep... Then in the morning I take Rhodiola Rosea Supplement 500mg ( double wood brand)with my cup of coffee and my multivitamin mens 40+ by new chapter as I found taking the rhodiola and the ashwagandha like this gives me awesome sleep and rhodiola really helps me kick off my day... along with that I also take Taurine two hr before bed as well, and seems to have a bit of a relaxing effect on top of the other how do you take a few other supplements to along with it but I won't bore you with it😂... But either way I've been doing this for about a year now after about six months I got into a Groove and my body really seems to like this combination and times I take it... Anyways, thanks for the video and your time 😎✌️

Ashwaganda can be too strong. Rhodiola always gives me a nice sense of clear relaxed energy and almost a sense of love weirdly enough

I like Ashwagandha. I take it at night.
One hour b4 bed for relaxation and to relieve the stress of the day.
I find that i fall asleep easily.

Omg Michael, I finished working out and took 1 cap of ksm Ashwa and Kratom, I feel great. Inspired . It's been 2 hours and it's maintained. It's like anxiety melted away. Btw, I know if I didn't work out for 30 minutes(P90x workout), I would feel as great as this. No this is not Placebo. I feel the relaxation.

Rhodiola can be taken în many other illnesses: panic atack, lupus, autoimun illnesses
