I don't want to be the boss in my marriage, I really don't want to. I'm tired, I have four children, and with my husband I have five. I have to think about everything, even the fact that I need to take my car to the mechanic.

But just because you're the "head" doesn't mean you make all decisions without considering your wife's needs. You can't be putting your comfort zone selfishly first just because you're the "leader." You can't be putting the burdens and sacrifices all on her.

The husband should “command” respect and following. It’s not a, “I’m the boss” kind of thing. IF you’re manning correctly, she will want to follow you and she will desire you. IF you’re manning correctly, you will lead in the most Christ-like manner imaginable.

I get that I’m glad you spoke on that because I honestly had that issue and god is working on me on not being the boss and trying to be in control of every aspect of my life so amen 🙏🏾 ❤to that a lot of people don’t get it

Love it, but a big chunk missing from it. We all know Pastor Mark says the husband and wife lead the family together even though the man is the head. That the husband doesn't lord over his wife, that there's one Lord and he ain't it.

I tell women this (even “Christian” women) they look at me like I have 3 heads or they always say but ……….he does this, he does that🤷🏻‍♀️

Now I spent a lot of time with my mother who is 91 years old and still living in her house since 1958 my Dad Robert passed away 6 years ago he was a Marine volunteer firefighter police officer constable full-time steelworker 37 years and fire commissioner and dog catcher before animal control officers

true. but also men...parents should teach their children to not hold them up on pedestals coz they WILL fail their children coz they are not God and that is why they should look to God and depend on the holy spirit for true wisdom and guidance when they do fail.

I was just wondering how to get your husband to understand you want him to be the head of the family. My husband has been beat down his whole life by women. Then he met me and I try to make him be the man and have the say, but ultimately he still leaves me to make the last call on most things. I was raised Christian and that the man should be the leader and the head of the house. I want this for him and I know deep down he does too, he's just scared. He has expressed his feelings in little bits and pieces throughout our 5 year marriage.

But the wife does want to be a godly woman and go to church and do all the great things jesus wants her to do. But the husband isn't really cool with it What does the wife do about
