Hi Jason. Not sure if you'll read this in time, but this has all been really helpful (Thanks). I'm trying to set up FB conversion tracking through GTM, but it's with a 3rd party website (humanitix). So basically, if i was to track things on my own website, this would be straight forward after following your videos.

But humanitix says it can integrate with my GTM, FB pixel etc. My question is, do i have to create a separate Google Analytics, GTM container for THEIR website? Then create conversion events for that container?

Because i've been using the GTM container that im using for my own website..

Great video! I was wondering if you could clear something up for me. I want to run a conversion optimized campaign and use the standard event - purchase. But my store has various different type of products (cat tshirt vs dog iphone case). Will the facebook pixel be able to segment between these two users groups?

If so, how do the ads identify ahead of time which segmented audience group to pull data so it can optimize for that specific product (cat tshirt)? I'm putting a link to the product in my advertisement's comment section. Does it determine what data to use based off the link URL placed in the ad comment section and identify it that way or do we manually assign what data to pull from somewhere?

If not, does that mean it will use all the purchase data from my general website, regardless of product type/category/sku etc.? In this case, would I use a custom conversion to hone in on that one product type? What do you recommend? thanks!

I have returned to my fb ad Manger >>Pixel section after adding pixel code into Google tag .. but it's whole new interface maybe cuz it's 2020 new version, updated interface of fb ad Manager pixel .. please guide me how do I do next steps from new interface .. Can you track your leads in the Facebook advertising admin interface as well as in Google analytics when you install FB pixel through tag manager? Or do you need to implement the FB pixel in the DOM of your website to track leads and trafic in your Facebook advertising admin interface

I have a few clients that I’m not able to see their confirmation or purchase complete pages. How do you test the pixel and/tag manager on those pages? I’m having the hardest time on that part.
