Is it possible to share the games installed in one external hard drive with two computer using the same account of course ?
I project to have two computers (desktop and laptop) and I want to play with the desktop when I'm at home et with the laptop when I'm on the go.
When I'm on the go I don't always have internet.
It should be very nice if I can have just one external drive for the two computers.

I just did a new build, and Steam seems to have taken away the ability to put the library where you want it specifically. It ONLY lets you pick which drive, and places it automatically...

If this didnt work for you beacuse you cant change downloading patch: Click that setting icon in steam library Click Uninstall Install it again and now you can change downloading patch and you're done Enjoy

Sorry, but we have a "Storage Manager" window open up now instead of a "Steam Library Folders", and it is 100% useless. If you try to add anything, it will simply create a "SteamLibrary" folder directly onto your drive instead of putting a "Steam" folder in your "Program Files (x86)" in which all my games I placed for safe keeping are located waiting to be rediscovered.

This helped, I had right-clicked to repair the folder, what happened is that someone knocked over my Seagate BarraCuda 4TB, totally destroyed it, so I tried downloading some of my games to my laptop but it wasn't letting me download anything because there was 0 space and the C/ was already set to default so I was going crazy trying to figure it out. This video helped as I did not know that the default folder in the settings could be repaired to function properly and download.
