My entire game drive including my huge steam library, amongst hundreds of other "paid" games, got corrupted on my Desktop PC and I have limited wifi at this moment. I literally had to sneak my laptop into work everyday with an external hard drive in order to download at least just all of my steam games back. Was having trouble but this video helped! Thanks!

OMG thank goodness this was here on YT to help us. Now I hope I do the steps right. I just got a new computer so this saves me losing my games. Some I can just restart over on Steam but some I've got a lot of money in game. So I don't want to start all over on them. Thx

For some reason i cannot move the game folder from the external hard drive onto the commons folder, i can only copy it onto the folder in which takes longer, do you have a solution to this, i am on windows 11

is there any way to save your progress on a new computer directly through the steam app itself? like can i login to my steam on my new computer and download the same game from there, and wll i keep my game data?

Thanks for the info. I will need to have Windows 10 re-installed so this will help. Was wondering can I do the same thing to move my Steam app. from the hard drive to be wiped to my secondary drive and back again?
