How does this not have more views? I have owned my TCL TV for 5 years and have had several issues and never heard of this secret menu! Hopefully it will help fix issues Netflix causes with the TV. I'm also having audio problems with the analog headphone jack AGAIN. Already replaced the entire circuit board inside the TV once because of this.

I had colored vertical lines on my screen (behind the picture). I did a picture and audio reset which did not fix the problem. Then, I unplugged the TV for a minute. That fixed the picture problem but now my remote would not do anything except on/off. I could not bring up the home screen or any menus.

I spent all day trying to get my remote to bring up the home screen without success. I tried every fix I could find on the internet with no success. Then, I found this video. Voila. I brought up the secret menu and did a system reset and now everything is working as it should be.

BTW: As I said, I could not bring up the home screen so I just pushed the home button once and waited about 30 seconds then used the sequence of buttons per these instructions. I was surprised when the secret menu came up. I could not navigate up or down in the menu until after I pressed the home and back buttons at the same time; then, turned the TV off and back on and redid the sequence for accessing the secret menu. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. :)

My TCL does not have any option on the menu to prevent ACR tracking. Where is it hidden to turn this off?
