I’m a female and I’m obsessed with your content! Currently in the process of lowering my body fat %. About to get my first dexascan. I believe I’m at 25% or a little lower. Goal is being in between 15 to 20% I went from 220lbs to 138 lbs at 5 feet 5 inches tall

If you’re shredded enough, you can display your shredded glutes for everyone in the dumbbell section to see. If you do a double rear glute spread and your glutes don’t look like two shredded walnuts, then you may be arrested

Good timing for this vid Dr Mike. Too many "experts" out there claiming the body is primed to gain muscle at a faster rate at 8-12% vs 15-20+ which just isn't the case.

I have always been “ultra lean” and loved going to the gym. One day I took a friend who had never been to the gym before, but who was also really athletic. I would say he was at about 15% bodyfat while I was at like 5%. He was also like 20kg heavier than me. His first ever deadlift was 150kg meanwhile I had been stuck at 120 for like a month. A week later he did 200kg, flawless technique. I still haven’t recovered from the emotional damage

I’ve been at that 15 to 20% range for the last five years. I have never felt better and even my injuries flareup far less often.

As a man who has always been somewhat bulky, getting lean is one of the biggest quality of life improvements I ever made. Before I was always pretty big in clothes. I had huge arms, delts and a big back, and I never wanted to sacrifice that size. Then some years ago due to an injury I was forced to take a step back, so I just said fuck, why not loose some weight. Getting lean (talking like <14%, not even shredded) made me feel SO much better: more energy, feel more like a man, feel great to take my shirt off, libido higher, feel way lighter on my feet and sweat way less. Literally feels like my testosteron is 3X compared to when I was at around 20%, even though I hold a lot less muscle.

So from man to man: Get lean. Stop the excuses, stop the perma bulk. It takes some discipline but you will feel SO much better. There’s nothing better than the free feeling of taking your shirt off whenever you want and feel great about yourself.
