OBS Black Screen Fix for Windows 10 Laptops

WORKING SOLUTION: For Windows 10 1909 update or newer:

Open Settings and search for "Graphics Settings". Select "Classic App" and browse to C:\Program (or wherever you have installed OBS). Click "Options".



If you want to use display capture to capture your screen / desktop, select "Power Saving".

If you want to use game capture to capture a game or use the NVENC encoder, select "High Performance".

Hey, I just found another solution. You are required to update the intel HD graphics driver!

Click Windows and then type Device manager. Under "Display Adapters", you'll see Intel HD Graphics 520. Just right click and choose Update Driver.

For somehow it didn't work for my OBS I can't find the "Open broadcaster software" even if I click the "Add" button there is none..please help :/ I found all the things you told except for that somehow won't pop up..please reply back.
