I failed all 3. I also failed the 4th test when my Dr told me I had a torn rotator cuff.

On 2021, Thanksgiving day, I accidentally stepped in a metal dog food bowl, and I fractured my right ankle. When I fell, I landed on my left shoulder, and I've been living with pain ever since. After watching your video, I now know why I'm having a lot of pain when I put my pants on, grabbing the seat belt or scratching my back. Thank you for your video!!

Passed all the tests with ease so this is giving me some hope but my shoulder is clicking a lot when I lift my arm above my head and I feel discomfort in my shoulder when I do other motions sometimes.

I saw some comments from other people that didn't pass these tests. I wish them the best and to look forward to their recovery. The more focused u r on physical therapy and everything the doctors tell u to do, the faster u get better. Don't let anyone tell u "u can't do it." Listening to them will only hurt u.

Oh thank goodness, I passed all three tests! I hurt my shoulder yesterday and it still hurts quite a bit, but I could do all these things. I think I just strained a muscle. Thank you for this video, it really helped me get peace of mind! (However, I know the tests aren't conclusive so I'll continue keeping an eye on my shoulder until it's better).

Thank you I passed but barely so I am resting it and not belly dancing as I already have a mild spinal cord injury and have to say I live in chronic pain but this shoulder pain has taken me DOWN. I am healing this now

What a relief, all 3 tests seem fine. I am thinking it’s a pinched nerve. Excellent video -thank you for doing such great work on it.

I’m 50 years old and very active in the gym. I did a 5000 pull up challenge about 5 months ago and I haven’t recovered from it since. I have lost shoulder strength on side and front raises. I have very limited cross body movement without having sever pain. I also get a fiery feeling running down my arm with any cross body motion. I’ve had a few cortisone injection many years ago but so far I haven’t been able to recover from this injury.

I passed all tests but had slight pain in the outside of my upper arm after, I fell and broke my collarbone 3 days ago so I'm praying I just stretched a muscle

The first time I have ever seen this doctor and I'm totally in love such a calm demeanor. I wish you were nearby in Houston Texas you would be my doctor

This is so informative. I have had severe neck and shoulder pain for the past year.

I had an epidural in my neck recently and it didn't last but a few days.
The doctor assumed my shoulder pain was directly related to my neck pain.
I had a follow up and let him know that I can no longer sleep due to my shoulder pain.
I can't sleep on the opposite side either, because it feels like someone is pulling my arm out of the socket.

He did a few of the tests that are in this video and I couldn't follow through on any of these.
The only different test he did was to have me lift my arm straight up and I can do that.
I'm seeing an orthopedic doctor on Monday, and until then I just can't sleep.
I really wish I would have seen this earlier because it really helped me realize I definitely have something wrong with my rotator cuff.
Very appreciative of good caring doctors ❤

Thank you for this information! I am unable to test my shoulder at this time. I will be watching this again and checking my shoulder.

The first 2 were not bad, but the behind the back had soreness. I was confirmed rotater cuff tear with an MRI. I been living with mild to moderate pain for years. I still lift at the gym. My affected shoulder has about 85 percent strength compared to my other. I may finally get that surgery

I had serious pain both sides for years just folding my arms was extremely painful. I tried stretching and exercise that helped a little but the best for me is the speed bag. Now I'm easing a little into weight lifting.

Thank you for the very helpful information doc! You mentioned the free 15 min consultation and I considered calling but then realized this was YouTube and you could be located anywhere! Turns out you are just a stones throw from my original hometown of Michigan City, IN... way cool. I live in Kansas now so not going to call but thanks for the quick test and short stroll down memory lane... Laporte, Valpo, MC, good memories.
