Definitely have to agree with the Gold card being the worst card on the list. One note is there are some limited purpose cards out their which are company specific, and you can't use them anywhere else besides the location, those are also terrible credit cards!

I definitely agree with this list. The only thing I'd add, is any card that doesn't offer a welcome bonus of at least $150, because there are SO MANY cards out there that do.

The Starbucks card does sound pretty good for somebody who would be drinking Starbucks anyways. 4, 500 stars, at 150 stars per drink, is the equivalent of 30 drinks. If you were going to spend $500 anyways, getting the equivalent of $210 back isn't half bad

Hey Daniel I actually have a Credit One Platinum Visa Card, I actually didn't know there were annual fees for this. Now this could be because I had a decent credit history with a Discover IT card - and some advice I had gotten from my parents were, double check there are no annual fees or monthly fees

My dad didn’t even use his Credit One card and someone on the inside were doing shady crap. He replaced the card and the account number but that didn’t stop the spending spree.

He doesn’t have an account anymore but they keep sending letters to where we live regardless of the move.

The dudes behind the "Black" and "Gold" card may even try to confuse people with the real MasterCard World Elite or the MasterCard Gold card (equivalent to a Visa Premier), you guys might not have that in the US

finessing the starbucks card: say u have a work friend who wants starbucks every day. So on the way to work u pick up their fav drink. They pay you the required amount for the drink, but you use the card. Eventually, you’ll have saved up enough stars to just pocket the money lmao😭 (or u could just get a good credit card but who wants that am I right)

Oh yea, then pray the pocketed money is enough to pay off the annual fee😬
