I got pulled over once. Cop asked for license and insurance. I grabbed a stack of papers out of my glove box knowing that my insurance card was at the very bottom. I started going through the stack one by one and it started raining. The cop lost it, said 'just drive safe' and he left.

I was ticketed once for riding shotgun in a car for no seat belt. I had the seat belt on the whole time. Argued with the cop to no avail. Went to court and had the driver and another passenger as witness testimony swear under oath to the judge that I had it on the whole time. Cop lied and said "he knew for sure I didn't have it on, because I wasn't wearing a shirt". I pointed out to the judge that I received the citation in mid February and not only was I wearing a shirt, but also a heavy coat. Still was found guilty. Judges are part of the gang too.

A good example of "To serve and protect" transformed into "To nag, harass and fail to use proper judgment".

That's pretty surprising. Usually in these videos when you refuse to exit your vehicle, you're coming out whether you want to or not.

In order to defend yourself FROM the law, you have to have a dashcam pointing forwards, backwards, at the controls and at everyone in the car. How else can you prove yourself innocent when a cops stands up in front of a Judge and lies?

This is why I put two dash cameras in my car that record both inside and outside the vehicle. It also records my speed. If I'm stopped and they say I was speeding, not wearing a seat belt, or any other infraction that they would have to observe, I would definitely let the officer know I have that recorded using an impartial dash cam, and that I will push for sanctions in court for ticketing me without cause.

He lost me when he said he doesn’t have a supervisor. So you’re the chief of police? 😂😂 no one is above that you can call?

So, basically, any officer can say "I think you did not wear a seatbelt" and that's it? He can even give a citation based on his hallucinations? Do Americans need dashcams that also register seatbelt state for their protection?

I remember a exact same scenario happened to me and my brother driving back home a cop pulled us over and thought my brother didn't have his seatbelt you know what happened he said "Sorry I thought the passenger wasn't wearing his seatbelt my mistake have a good day" that's the difference when you have a good cop pull you over

Cop : "Do not use profanities in front of your child"

Also the same cop : "If you don't obey me I'm gonna strip you out of the car in front of your child"

The cop literally admitted that the reason he wants his ID is so he can "Check him out". Meaning this is to look for warrants.

Yes, we all need to have dash cams to make sure mistakes by police don't happen.

To all people who say "it's easier to comply".

If you let them violate your rights long enough, then they will successfully argue about you not needing those rights. And then they will violate other rights. At the end of they day they will say "it's easier to go into work camps, work sets you free!".

"If the officer reasonably believed" = "The law allows an officer to make shit up and get away with it"

I learn so much from this channel. Allow me to express my appreciation for Audit the Audit. It must take an enormous amount of time and effort to produce videos that are so objective, educational, and informative. They are well-researched. Thank you for doing what you do!

A friend and I drove around to see if you can effectively see if people in cars passing by had their seat belts on. We did this during the day and at night. Nearly impossible to tell when people are wearing a seatbelt when you are not right next to the other car. Cops literally make claims that can NOT be supported. FYI: We did this because a cop stopped me and gave me a ticket for not wearing my seatbelt, when I was. If seatbelts are for our protection and Law Enforcement is not responsible for our safety, why are they checking for seatbelt use. I use a seatbelt all the time, and I still get accused of not wearing my seatbelt. WTF! Clearly, cops are using the seatbelt law as another revenue stream.

The courts just chip away at our rights in nearly every decision. He wants to run this guy for warrants. I was pulled over for not wearing a seatbelt and I never drive without it on. We argued for15 minutes and he still ticketed me. Guess who the judge believed? Dashcams should be standard at this point.

Traffic enforcement has just gotten out of hand at this point. It's predatory and it's targeted at the poorest among us. Just because you can make a stop doesn't mean you should.

When you get pulled over by a motorcycle cop for not wearing a seat belt, you begin to understand that it has never been about safety.
