A Georgia police officer recently pulled over "a souped-up Dodge Charger" going nearly 100 mph, only to discover the county sheriff's chief deputy behind the wheel, according to bodycam footage of the incident. "Really?" says the officer as he approaches the vehicle driven by Henry County Chief Deputy Michael Yarbrough. A uniformed deputy is seen in the passenger seat. Inside Edition Digital has more.

This cop did the right thing in issuing the ticket. He was going way too fast, and there was no emergency he was going to. Officers holding the fellow officers accountable for their actions have a thumbs up from me.

Full credit to him for not objecting, not asserting authority to try and avoid, and for informing his boss. This guy has integrity.

This is a fantastic example of how the law is supposed to work. Nobody is above it. Not even the people that enforce it.

He took it like a man and didn't act a fool. I respect him for that.

At least the official didn’t try to make excuses and use his position of authority to escape accountability.

Congrats to the officer writing the citation ! 96 in a 35 mph zone is totally insane regardless of the individual's position.

I love how the chief responded with a yes sir. No arguing, no screaming, no driving away.

You know at the same time I commend the Chief Deputy for accepting his punishment and being humble about the situation.

It's cathartic seeing police actually behave ethically and check themselves from within their own ranks. Kudos to this man.

96 in a 35?? Anybody else would have been ARRESTED. Writing a Ticket is still Preferential Treatment and a Double Standard.

At least he didn’t freak out or start getting angry when he got the ticket. He abided calmly and followed the officers instructions. Nice

Whoa! 96 mph in a 35 mph zone!?
How an accident didn't occur will continue to amaze me.

Congrats to the senior officer for RECEIVING the ticket. We've all sped in our cars before. The fact he didn't go off on one waving his badge and seniority deserves a bit of respect atleast. Took it like a champ and kept his job.

The attitude of both can be admired. Let me explain, the policeman did his job by not having special preferences or treatment with another policeman. The policeman who was pull over did not complain or justify himself, he remained down and accepted the mistake he made. My respect to both!

Love how the one officer told the officer doing the traffic stop to do what he thought was best. And then the traffic officer issuing a citation/ticket. Love it!
