As someone who is underweight and has been trying to gain weight for years this is wonderful thank you! Not enough attention is given to those who are trying to gain weight.

Hello, as requested here are the nutrition facts for the above recipe; Calories = 1504.44 as 322.4 + 838 + 144 + 280 - 1504.44 and 45.9 grams worth of fat as 23.64 + 2(estimation) + 19.55 = 45.9, The estimation is there as I do not know the bread variation.

Hey, love the content man! You’re one of my favorite food creators. Here are the estimated macros for your sandwich: about 1400-1750 calories adjusting for brand variations, (assuming the cheese sauce is on the higher-calorie side since you said this was for weight gain, that one varied the most), roughly 60g carbohydrates, about 50g fat, and around 65g of protein depending on the weight of the steak. I wasn’t sure what brand of bread that was so I estimated but this is as reasonably accurate as I could get. I hope this helps!

Edit: this was assuming that logically, every item was the highest calorie version of that due to the context of the video, and also that he used all of the sauce, which he didn’t. Hence why the calorie count might seem a little high but this is roughly what you will end up with if you make it, give or take.

Thank you so much. This is the first time I've seen a video about weight gain. I really need this weight because I'm underweight and walk around A LOT. I intend to gain some muscle so my body can actually sustain what little I eat. Thank you for this and have a great day

As a teen to my early 20s I was about 55-65kg. Now I'm 75. This is how I managed, go to the gym then come home and eat a lot

GULLY PLS DO MORE OF THIS. I wanna gain weight as well and I’m tired of all the weightloss recipes on YouTube. Do dirty bulk meals or include healthy fats I literally do not care just more please.

For your weight gain journey, I’d recommend having meals with 60% protein, 25% fat, and 15% carbs. There had been studies done a while ago (not sure if they have been proven otherwise) that show that when you mix fats and carbs together, you’re more likely to gain weight because you increase the fat reserve in your body and end up using the carbs as energy.

If you’re looking for a breakfast meal that is actually filling and would help with weight gain, I’ve got just the recipe for you:

You’ll require Bananas (not plantains), sugar (or honey), butter (or beef tallow), and your favorite brand of Cereal (or a special bread the I forgot how to make).

Slice bananas into half inch in thickness
Prepare a pan and make sure it’s on medium heat
Add half a stick of butter (or 2 table spoons of beef tallow)
Add your bananas after the butter or tallow has melted
Smash up the bananas until it has the consistency of mashed potatoes without cream.
Add your cereal
Crush up and mix the cereal with the bananas and allow them to soak up all the fat.
Add sugar or honey for taste.
(Optional) add thick cream as a pallet cleanser within the dish, if it ends up being overtly sweet the cream allows the flavors to mellow out.

This is a Saudi Arabian dish called Maasoub, it’s one of my favorite dishes growing up.

Alr, so this might not be perfectly accurate, but it should be around 1, 404 calories and 63g of protein

I think if you used some full fat american like kraft singles similar to what the original recipe called for it would help the sauce emulsify and become as smooth as the original recipe, babish used the actual emulsifier in american cheese to make his own more flavorful version while having the melting properties, doing it that way would probably be more work than it would be worth but tossing in a few slices of american is easy enough, it would probably require some experimentation on the quantity needed to help it melt smoothly but it would help make it more like a classic cheese steak and its ultra smooth processed cheese sauce

Thing I learned is that weight loss is mental and weight gain is physical It’s a good thing to remember they both can be very hard to do and a good bit does come down to your metabolism.
