Jim Carrey and Matthew Perry both confirmed this. The problem is that most people who achieve this level of material success just continue doing the same thing and don’t figure out that it’s an endless cycle of acquiring more and more with no real reward.

People must understand to stop seeking outside themselves and see oneness and interconnectedness of things. Unless one understands that, one will suffer incompleteness and insufficiency of a separate being vulnerable to the "outside" world.

Having more stuff wont make you a different person, that black hole feeling in you is still going to be there, because you are the same person. Dont confuse materalistic gathering with progress. Real progress happens within yourself

Yes, we have to do something useful every day to stay sane. We see the Dutch "Royals" visiting people almost daily, without press attention.

so interesting how we are looked at as u have to have all these things to BE SOMEONE. or status. ect. the newest car. yet it doesn't make u "happy" for a lifetime. i am starting to think "happy" means content with what is. there is no "goal" to be happy. just to be content and face what happens. i still find myself sometimes "comparing, or thinking thoughts of the sort" but i am letting them be there pass. some ppl have a roof, food, a pet, some family maybe not. an SO. and are content. some have 3 houses, 4 cars, extra $ yet are suicidal. i would take the first option.
