I had forgotten about this scene. It's a great moment where Hellboy's personal preferences 'catch' on earthly customs and become an emotional anchor point. I have had many 'little moments' like this that allow me to remember special times or people in my life. I imagined that this is one where Hellboy understood that, as much as he gets all-around mistreated and misunderstood, one person actually cared and was trying to help him to 'live a little' around all the pressure and drama in his life.

Ron Pearlman is the only Actor that could get Hellboy correct. Being older as he took the role he still knew how to capture that Hellboy is only basically 30 years Old.
I am finally able to start collecting Hellboy Graphic Novels again. And I showed my Batman Loving BF the amazing news of Hellboy. And my BF is an artist and loves Mike Mignola's style.
My main quest is to own the Odd Jobs short story books again. They are some of my all time fave books.
Just glad I could show my Awesome BF that there is another not by the books Vigilante so to speak. He is a Hellboy fan now. And that made me so happy. He was just seriously stoked I like comics and could show him the world of Hellboy. He loves this movie now also. I have an awesome BF. But he has also help me expand on Batman and that entire world.
It's a HUGE WIN WIN.
