What I love about the Hellboy films is how much comedy they actually have while not feeling forced. Hellboy is cracking jokes but it never feels forced and other characters will call him out for not taking things seriously and it does come back to bite him. Also the dude got eaten by a literal god and lived.

My dad, born in the 70s, is a massive hellboy fan, in his youth he used to read a lot of hellboy comics and when those movies came out, he was amazed, this just shows that hellboy is a good af character, that captivates a grumpy 50 year old, and me, a teenager😅

Hellboy 1 and 2 are some of my favourite movies ever, I just love the characters designs, the concepts, the world building, guillermo’s directing and pearlman as the lead. They are fun and dark. I’m so sad we’ll never get a 3rd movie. The graphic novels are insanely cool I’d recommend them to anyone who likes the Hellboy character.

Hellboy is my absolute favorite superhero and comic book character. I have the complete set of every comic hes been in and he is incredibly underrated. People also tend to forget his immortality and healing factor. He is an awesome story of a creature the world hated growing up to save it. Amazing Character.
