for everyone asking: if you notice a mix of the colour of your veins, it usually and most likely means that your undertones will be neutral.

Tip: you can also get your foundation from maybelline under their fit me foundations. I found my exact shade in under 3 minutes

okay, my color changed in different lighting (skin tone wise). sometimes i can look really dark in yellow lighting, and then super light in natural or fluorescent. I got matched to 385 fenty liquid foundation at ulta (and yk they use fluorescent lighting) got home and tried it out. One minute my makeup looks utterly perfect in my bathroom and room lighting, then i turn on a ring light and i get really bad flash back even before setting, and then i’ll go in natural lighting and it’s a hit or miss. So, i think i might be an in between shade? i asked the girl at ulta that and she didn’t give me a clear answer, but from playing with makeup in the past i almost always had to do an in between or mix two foundations to get my shade (hindsight: i was using more affordable brands like fit me back and the formula can drastically change with high end makeup brands). idk guys😕

Once we know our undertone, does the foundation say anything about warm or cool? Just trying to figure out why that is important if we are picking the shade closest to color of neck?

My shade is non-existent I feel like or at least in stores 😭 it's a bit easier during winter tho but like all light to light tan colors are not my shade 😭 I am neutral but also pink at the same time and the only pink-ish foundations are usually too light or just too cold. It literally turns out almost white on my skin and I am literally Scandinavian and not super tanned 😭 if I go down to a little darker shades they're always yellow or ashy. I'm gonna blame all the white Swedes who fake tan 😭 literally most shade in Sweden är yellow and ashy 😭😭

So now I'm thinking of getting the mixing pigments to get my shade on my own 😭

Your wrist isn’t necessarily going to be the same undertone as the skin on your face so be careful. Just swatch samples on your cheek and see which one looks invisible.

So my issue is i have a good color and it looks great on my cheeks. But gray on my forhead and chin area since there isnt an even tone. Is this where color corrector comes in?
