This is my tried and tested Smoked BBQ Baked Pit Beans that are fantastic on their own but also go great with Chicken, pork and beef. They are so easy to do but give you a great and satisfying meal.

Barbecue Baked Beans Ingredients:
- 3 Tins of Baked Beans 🫘
- 3 Tins of chopped tomatoes 🍅
- 2 tins of beans (use whatever beans you like or have in the cupboard)
- 1 pack of sausages
- 1 pack of streaky bacon
- 2 small or 1 large white Onion diced
- 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce (use your favourite brand)
- 2 tablespoons of white wine vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons French Mustard
- 2 Teaspoons of paprika
- Hot sauce to your taste
- 200g of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup BBQ Rub (I used Malcolm Reeds bbq rub)
Barbecue Baked Beans Directions:
1. Prepare charcoal smoker or other grill for indirect cooking at 225-250 degrees. Use your favourite wood/pellets for smoke flavour .
2. Pre-cook the sausages and onion (but not bacon)
3. Add all the ingredients into the foil pan.
4. Gently fold to incorporate the ingredients and cook smoke uncovered for at least 2.5-3 hours or until onions are soft and liquid has thickened slightly.
