I usually smoke a few sides every time I’m doing a long cook. Beans are one of my faves. So are mushrooms (they soak up a lot of flavor) asparagus is great too. I’m lazy i use aluminum loaf pans. Easy to toss when I’m done

I'm in Wisconsin, can they 🫘 beans go in the oven instead? I do have some of that hickory liquid smoke I could add. Also can't wait to cook these with navy beans in the can. I usually just buy the Bush canned beans, but I'm tired of those.

Been smoking beans for years, we start from scratch, no canned anything, it takes 3 days to make them, but I guarantee they’re light years beyond these, just take a long time, we plan ahead whenever we’re planning a big get together.👍
