Hades could have escape at the moment he got his ember, I mean, HE IS A GOD, but he didn't, he just saves Audrey and he lets them send him back to the isle, and he does all of that for his love for his daughter.

i think that when hades says ‘thanks for a glimpse of the sun’ he isn’t talking about the actual sun. i think he’s talking about mal. mal is his sunshine, and he finally got to see her.

This scene makes me cry, it doesn't help that the guards had to hold Hades back from Mal when she called him. Poor Hades, he can't even go to his daughter without the guards there holding him. And poor Mal having to miss her dad again.

Anyone else realize the connection here? In real life Dove Cameron's father passed away and when Mal's dad "Hades" says "thanks for a glimpse of the sun." Imagen connecting both and Dove channeling the love for her real dad 😖😖😖 damn broke my heart

Anyone realize that if Mal is still the old Mal then she is powerful enough to destroy the whole world. She can use Maleficent staff, the Dragon Eye without falling asleep for a thousand years and she can also use Hades Ember making her an invincible Villain but thankfully she decided to be good and Ben should watch out because if he hurt Mal then he will be gone on the face of the Earth in just a blink of an eye.

This scene really makes me cry! It’s very sad how the guards had to take Hades away like that, poor Hades! Mal had to say goodbye to her dad and miss him all over again, poor Mal 😢😥😭! It sure was sad when Mal had to say goodbye to her dad but it was very sweet when Mal gave her dad a kiss on the cheek! That really made me smile! 😘💞
