Yes, that's what I do. Keep my toes outwards. Provides much stability even if I bend forward.

Yo thank you for this. I genuinely always do trial and error. I can never seem to find why my knees cave in as I go up. I’ll try it out on leg day tomorrow 💯🙏🏽

Bro looks so tame in a shirt, but in a tank top he looks like he could just fold you in half like Origami

Do not forget to train balance, mobility, and stabilizer muscles. Split squats and abductor/adductor work will also help here.

Amazing how well you do even the 'wrong' thing 😂

Little physio tip : you can also use a booty band around your lower thighs to help you think about pushing your knees "outward", until your technique is better 😉 it might also help you reach a deeper squat by activating your glutes, if you're struggling with that 😊

"Spread the floor" cue works for me. Helps to practice with a light band at knees

A good queue for this is to think about screwing your foot into the ground while maintaining contact at the heel, ball, and outer edge

I’ve found that warming up the abductors before squats greatly helps with this

This is solely dependent on ones own anatomy. If your hip sockets arent meant for this, if your flexibility isn't what it should be, if your glute medius and adductor magnus arent up to par you could still do this. But rooting yourself in properly and etlstablishing what is known as tripod foot is 100% necessary.

I would recommend checking Squat University of you want more in depth 'turtorials' of squats.😅
