I thought that I made a mistake by upgrading from my 12 Mini to a 14 Pro, I thought the Pro was unnecessarily heavy and hard to use with one hand but after 8 months I’ve begun to appreciate the positive features of my 14 Pro. The battery life is so much better than my old Mini and the 3X zoom feature has come in handy a few times, I still think the Pro phones need to go on a weight reduction program but overall I’ve grown to really like this phone

I dropped my 13 pro max and new screen replacement costs so much money. I’m hanging out for 15 pro max to renew my telco contract. Battery on 13 pro max is amazing.

Thanks - good video. I upgraded to the 14 Pro Max (from a 12 Pro) for the sake of the cameras (like you). I've been a keen amateur photographer for a very long time but in recent years I got tired of carrying my DSLR + lenses around and was increasingly using the phone. It was that 48mp sensor that persuaded me to upgrade; that, and the fact that the 2x option was now a purely optical image, a crop into the 48mp.

Although the 15 Pro Max (only) will feature another huge camera upgrade - a periscope lens system - I'm going to give it a miss. I want to wait a year to see how it actually works out; this is Apple's first implementation of this technology and they do have a record of subsequently changing the way they do things. Also I'm wondering just how robust the periscope system will be; those moving parts might be susceptible to damage (alignment, etc) if the phone is dropped.

Iphone 14 pro entry version cost 1350 USD. The next one is expected to cost even more.

If the rumors are true;
USB-C
Larger battery.
Better zoom.
Better finishing on the side edges, better grip.
The phone will be a bit lighter, also now because of the titanium.
Also a bit more screen, thinner bezels.
And not everyone has an iPhone, my last iPhone was the iPhone 7, I switched to samsung and now I want to change again to Apple. Anyway for the pro max.

I’ve had an 8 Plus since 2018 and have a 14 Pro Max on its way. I wanted a great camera and lots of storage. After that, no planned upgrades until the 2030’s

I'll be keeping my 13 pro had they not taken away the SIM tray I probably would've upgraded to the 15 pro but I use an android as well and eSim is not seamless yet

You don’t make sense! you don’t need to update even though you will for 2 years in a row!! You could simply use your iPhone 14 pro and still do videos like How is my iPhone 14 pro max after 1 year and beyond but you are saying things you don’t believe.l
