The US has confirmed at least 24 people were involved in a prisoner exchange between Russia and some Western countries including the US and Germany.

Among the prisoners released are the US citizens Evan Gershkovich - a Wall Street Journal reporter - and former US Marine Paul Whelan.

As part of the deal, Russian security service hitman Vadim Krasikov has been freed by Germany.

The title of the video is "who are the prisioners", and you totally nailed it with the "Vadim Karasikov and 9 others"...

Why does no one mention the rest of the prisoners Russia got?

These people who go to Russia from western countries should sign a release stating they understand their lives are imperiled by going there with no expectation of rescue. Why we even allow our citizens to go to these other dangerous countries is beyond me.

Name all those countries involved! Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Norway.

1:33 is that supposed to be a joke? or is this what you call journalism? there are others on the russian side who have been identified. you are refusing to identify any because you are trying to downplay the price paid by western countries by simply not naming it.

also what ineptitude exactly was behind the use of two different zoom states of the placeholder image being used? xD

BBC is such a bold faced liar redaction. Krassikov wasn't a "FSB hitman" for starters FSB only deals with internal security in Russia, you would want to say a "GRU" hitman though that doesn't sound quite as poppy for your audience. 2nd and foremost he didn't gun down a "Kremlin opponent" but a terrorist commander responsible for the terrorist attack that killed over 100 Policemen in Ingushia and triggered the 2nd Chechen war. He also rolled over heads of Russian prisoners soldiers with a tank. Britain blasted its nationals in Syria after stripping them from citizenship after they joined ISIS for less. 3rd you have no clue about Krassikov's biography or why he came to do that as you couldn't care less to do your homework.
