PS4 Error CE-34878-0 FIX for PS4 !

Hi..

My ps4 pro crashed immediately with error ce-34878-0 after any game was started.. i tried everything to fix it and without a success so i tried to bake it in oven before put in garbage and you know what.. it's not crashing anymore for now.. if this fixed the problem then guy in video is a fu*king genius..

Now will test and hope to not see that blue screen.

I am new to PS4 (just bought on 14 Nov 2020) and I am getting this error past 1 week. I have tried everything like rebuild data, Full initialize, restore license, lower video output, re-sign in, re-starting. everything. after this I come to now that this pandemic is happening all over the world.

Believe me this is not hardware or game issue. this is PS4 Update patch issue. Sony is very busy for marketing and manufacturing of PS5 and trying to resolve cyberpunk CE 34878 error.

It isnt normal that it keeps popping up, i think everyone repported the problem but still isnt fixed. Only since i played cold war it has been popping up on my ps4...

Well, I did the reflow, and guess what... it worked 🎉! Now my old fat PS4 is working like clockwork. However, after a bit of research, I made some adjustments to the oven temperature and time. I preheated the oven to 260°C (500°F) for 5 minutes and let the motherboard cool down for 30 minutes before reassembly. Why did I do that, you may be wondering? Well, as a commenter pointed out, a standard reflow requires temperatures higher than 180°C to work properly, with the ideal range being between 240°C to 260°C for a maximum of 5 minutes. I chose to go for the maximum temperature limit. Here's a note to keep in mind: if I had to do it again, I would set the temperature to 240°C for the same 5 minutes. This is because there's a piece made of plastic on the board, specifically the one that connects the power supply, which is not as heat resistant as the others. If exposed to more than 5 minutes of heat, it will start to change color (melt) 😅. Don't worry, it wasn't damaged, just a little shiny

I get my Ps4 fix after i get this error on games and app application, I bring the ps4 on debug save mode and reinstall the actually firmware by a usb stick, problaby u need to do this twice, after that was everything fine

I have had my ps4 like this for 3 years and every youtube fix was to rebuild database or update system software, thats all crap and i want to try your method of the oven but i dont think im allowed to put a motherboard.

Hah, well done though. I had to take apart the PS4 Pro to try and make it sound less like a jet. Replaced the thermal pads and put on some new thermal paste. Was a bit unnerving, but luckily still worked by the end. Honestly the hardest part was getting the plastic case off at the beginning.

Still sounded like a plane taking off unfortunately.
