Quickly to the important points while other videos tend to be overly long. In particular: dry sweep first, wet mop if necessary giving sufficient time for dirt to dislodge, damp mop, maintenance of mop and bucket afterwards.

Do you always have to use hot water when using the mop to clean the floor i dont understand whats wrong with warm water or cold

I had to watch something like this, no ones ever showed my how to mop thow I had 2 techniques, and now I know the name. Damp mop being single stage or wet mop where you wet the shit out of the floor then go along and basicly pick up the water in the second step.

Never been employed as a cleaner but once or 3 times a year it happens because i just wanted to do an area I work in and wonders if my wet floor then dry was worng but actually right. Only thing differnt is maby wet mop you let it sit and possibly dry a little before going over it again. I probly go over board with amount of water but it worked lol. I guess damp mop is good for corners with wood etc you don't want water damaged. Arras I've ever done are concrete that got done maby 3 times a year.

I have a new job in my homeless shelter mopping. I don;'t see how putting dirty water back onto a mopped floor makes sense. Can you expain how the floor gets cleaner using dirty water?
