As much as I wish this would happen, it never will. An unplugged version would actually expose Perry's voice issues more than a rock show. Perry still makes millions off of every Journey album sold, t-shirt sold, and show on the current tour. If he wants to tour, he would go out solo, and still rake in millions from Journey. There's a reason he didn't tour off of his solo album. Why go out and risk your legacy when you don't have to?

Steve Perry got burned out he got tired.. I don't look for him to come back he's older now and he just wants to take his life easy.. he just wants to make music on his own terms.. I love and appreciate him for that

Not true. Unless he announces it himself, I don't believe it. He's 75 years old and his voice isn't even the same anymore. He's evolved into a new sound which is softer and milder, more poetic and romantic. The Journey sound isn't today's Steve Perry anymore. He said himself the group burned him out so bad that he never wanted to sing again. The only reason he's singing now is because of the promise he made to the love of his life before she died.
