Im still thinking of getting one but once again you know it's the rod bearing issue that I'm most afraid of tbh😢. It's an awesome car and that V10 engine is surely one of a kind.

AYE BROSKI! Got a quick question. Canadian here and in Vancouver, my local dealer has a pristine BEAUTIFUL 2010 M5 with a perfect maintenance record no accidents for only $12, 800. Think it’s worth it? The guy on the lot has been pushing me to buy it but my dad wants me to drive a Volkswagen home instead. He states the car is super expensive to maintain (is it true it’s 10K a year?) has electronic issues or has rod problems. Would you consider this car as a good purchase for a university student with about $10K to spend on anything and nothing to loose? If it dies on me I’ll honestly keep it and work on it as time goes on but I wanna know are they reliable when oil changes and basic things are looked after or does it require more heavy servicing often? Thanks for any advice as I think $12, 800 for an all black M5 is a total deal if I’ve seen one and I CAN’T stop thinking about it every day!
