As a kid i loved the music thanks to my dad but i didnt understand the lyrics til i got older in my teens. And knowing the songs my dad would listen to breaks my heart cause i didnt have a But it does bring back some great memories of just going for random drives and headbanging to the music

This masterpiece is metal by metal standards. Saying its dark is like saying hell is hot. Its black as oblivion. The climax of the song, the main thrust of heroism is the possible ability to finally comit suicide. It inspires for me valiant action for no reward. The insane action in and of itself is its own reward.

YES! This is by FAR the better video version. It's the FIRST one I remember seeing on MTV back in the day before the ANNOYING version with the movie clips spliced in took over. You can't get into the song because the dialogue from the clips interrupts it.. It's poorly done. All they needed to do was just show the visual of the movie clips and not interrupt with the audio.
