The most common reason people seek and find Qigong is to help with healing.

Healing can be a very complicated word - it can mean "healing from a bruise, or it can mean "healing" from a life threatening condition.

It can mean physical "healing" and it could mean emotional, mental, and spiritual "healing."

All forms of healing are important and necessary at different times.

Qigong is an excellent tool to help with all forms of healing.

The truth is, I don't think that Qigong healing is "magical."

I think it is amazing, wonderful, and extremely helpful for treatment and prevention of many conditions BUT it is effective because it is tapping into our natural healing ability.

Our body wants to be healthy, robust, and strong. Our minds want to be clear, sharp, peaceful, and Present. It is our natural state.

When we heal through Qigong there isn't anything supernatural happening.

Qigong is simply encouraging the natural healing function of our body.

How does it do this?

In very simple way - by relaxing the body and mind, oxygenating, and moving gently to increase circulation so that our body has the energy and resources to heal.

If that sounds too simple... you're right! Simple works best!

If we have an ache or pain, a degenerative condition, a diagnosed issue, or we are trying to prevent illness in the future we want to try and do as much as we can.

It's ideal to consult with all the experts we can and take their recommendations.

Along with that, we also want to bring our body and mind into a calm peaceful state through Qigong so that our body can use it's natural healing ability to heal itself and help us feel our best :)

I'm Jeffrey Chand, an acupuncturist, practitioner of Traditional Chinese medicine, and Qigong instructor.

I knew a man who cured his cancer by practising Qigong. He'd been given a year to live and he was determined to help himself, so he discovered Qigong and practised it regularly, learnt about the meridians and not only he cleared the cancer, he became an instructor.

I haven't gotten a chance to watch this full video, but I just wanted to let you know how important your videos have been to me in the past few weeks! I've practiced on and off in the past, but this is the first time I've been so consistent--every day for 3 weeks today. It really does take practicing regularly to feel a "breakthrough" in the effectiveness on an energetic level, so wanted to encourage anyone reading this to try practicing every day!

Beyond some increased physical energy, I'm just experiencing a lot more mental clarity. (I might be annoying my friends because I'm constantly sharing my newest revelation about my mind, life, family, etc. :)) Thanks so much for providing such a necessary, under-appreciated service here on youtube <3

I was led here. Feeling very weak with depleted energy from an illness. I was taking all kinds of vitamins and herbs for days, weeks and I could barely walk without feeling tired. I did these exercises last night this morning I woke up and I almost feel like my old self again. I will continue doing these exercises this is mine boggling the energy load is real.

Your videos are so relaxing and instructive. I am a mental health therapist and utilize dan tian breathing, some yoga and some tai chi in my practice. I’d like to use qi gong as well. I was wondering if you ever train instructors? Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

One difficulty with western medicine is that the vast majority of doctors really don’t want to hear all your symptoms. One office I know of only allows a patient ONE issue per visit. If you have more than one thing going on, you are required to make separate appointments for each.

This reluctance is especially true if you have a lot if symptoms or symptoms that don’t “fit” their ideas. Then they think you a hypochondriac and prescribe antidepressants but never search for the pattern or the syndrome.

You can hear virtually the same story from any person with a tricky or long standing illness. It often takes years just to get a correct diagnosis.

TCM, however, looks at you as a whole and your symptoms as part of that puzzle.

Plus, their 5000 year record of success makes less than 100 years of what is accepted as conventional western medicine look more like a science experiment.

Does practice this make you more receptive to spiritual energy I’m empathetic and need to stay grounded but need the healing ability to help anxiety been using you grounded videos been helping tremendously but do I have to use the healing routine to activate the healing modalities or will the grounding also help with healing

What if you have an incurable disease? Healing isn’t an option. Will Quigong help to manage the depression and stress from dealing with it?
