So true! I started doing the sauna 7 months ago for my skin health and it started a whole journey into health, wellness and working out!

In the late 1920's there was a lot of interest in daily saunas as a means of preventing and controlling illness during the cold and flu season. However, it all ended in 1928 with the invention of Penicillin. Now we understand that raising the body temperature is an effective way of exciting the immune system and fighting illnesses.

As someone with lower end PTSD, and having been diagnosed with hypertension due to jump scares I’ve been having, I’m about to make sure I do heavy lifting at lease 3x weekly and visiting a sauna for an hour over the course of a week each week

Been going for 2 years 3 or 4 times a week- it becomes a healthy addiction. After a few days of not going I can feel it

My mom just gave me an infrared sauna blanket…….. I didn’t know what to think at first but I was amazed at how much sweat came out of me in 45 minutes at 175° I thought it was going to be painful but it felt good. I’m excited to use it daily now.

Moves the lymphatic system by sweating. If you don't work out you don't sweat. The body becomes like a stagnant pond, dead, lifeless.

I like to sit in the sauna for about 15-20 minutes post work out before sure it helps relax my muscles and if I haven’t gotten to sweat as much I feel like it helps push me to that point. Idk the science yet but it feels right now 🤷🏼‍♀️

That is a great thing to know. Thank you John. Your information is so helpful for those of us who choose to use it and also have the capacity to remember it cousin my case. I have learning disabilities so who knows if I'll remember. But nevertheless, I'll bless the people I know with the information so that they may be able to use it if I forget
