It’s basically a smart adjustable wrench. They’re really great and fun to use. And they clamp down so it’s pretty much never loose unless you overestimate.

I'm a plumber and it just so happens that bolt rounders are a necessity when threading basically any valve on water or gas lines and I can confidently say that I despise adjustable wrenches with a passion. The pliers wrench however has been a game changer as of recent for me. The end product looks alot cleaner and prettier when you aren't chewing up the brass with the cobras.

Those also happen to be really good at pressing in roll pins. Particularly when you are working on a gas block or bolt catch.

I work in autobody repair and I've never used one of these on a bolt but I absolutely love having it around because it super useful as a non marring tool to bend around tabs and edges of panels. Super useful for minor repairs on things like rear body panels and fender mounts

These are also great for fabrication (non professional) i use them to bend thin sheet metal and what not honestly they are pretty much the first tool i grab no matter what i need done

These are really great. When I’m doing a lot of the same size stuff it’s awesome setting it and forgetting it. I pair these with the extra slim cobra’s and they work great.

I own every pair they make, those things are so versatile. They have bailed me out many times don't have a 30mm wrench? 1 3/8? Them pliers do

I have their networking cable crimp tool and cutter. Always a joy to use. Just next-level quality and workmanship.

The smaller version you showed is my favorite tool I own

Started with one, now have 4 different sizes of these. Work very well and don't round nuts or tear up fasteners.

I got the cobras first and wanted to try the plyers wrench and while pricy bought the small version they worked fantastic, anything water supply under a sink it could work even the packing nut on the water shutoff valves is just small enough for (the other numbers have worn off) and from those I ordered the 12 inch set . Great tools

150s are a good size but sometimes struggle to get around some common sizes. I'd suggest the 180 and the 250

Great video! I don't think I could ever go back to an old school Cresent wrench lol

I've never had a decent adjustable wrench loosen up during wrenching, even with a pipe for leverage, but they can still slip under high stress or with a damaged fastener, and the clamping function on the Knipex not only improves it as a wrench, but adds a ton of uses. So far I only have the 180 mm, perfect for me.

I love mine for so many things. My only gripe is that they always seem to be too big - they never fit in the space I need them to. I end up then grabbing a different tool

I like in the most cases but if it's a really tight bolt they try to spread your hand open around the edges off I found that a Snap-On adjustable with the teeth inside is way better for tight bolts

That's actually a great tool, would get one for work but I wouldn't want to use it there cause the handle would melt. Get it for home though

Nobody that uses these will ever look at a regular adjustable crescent wrench EVER again. Knipex is by far one of the best brands if your looking for an upgrade from regular garbage tools. They’re clearly thought out. Another good German brand that ive spent far too much money on lately is Wera. They make very nice tools as well. Also I believe it’s pronounced “Nipex” the K is silent
