I rate knipex as one of the best pliers manufacturer, all my pliers are red. Tried other people's snap-off and many other popular brands pliers, but they are yet to beat it with price to performance, yes they are a bit more money compared to other manufacturers, but you get what you pay for. 10/10 for the knipex from me.

Thanks a lot for the review! I have quite a few, but enjoy watching people showing and talking about them. At the moment my favorites are 1) Raptor 2) Cobolts 01 160. Love the pliers wrench, but I see it as a bit overrated, I happen to use it quite rarely, more like a some sort of hand vise to squeeze something without marring the surface.

Never tried their locking pliers. I've heard good things about them.. but I just built out my collection of eagle grip locking pliers which are amazing! You think I should still grab em? Great video bruh!

I’m a residential plumber. They are all must haves for me. Literally the best technology one can apply to that task, every single day.

The vise grips look like a good idea because I trust the brand to provide a strong Tool you can easily rely on.

I have had the combo for the past year and a half, THERE'S NO BETTER EDC PLIER

The nose is long and slim enough for a lot of tasks, they open well, it's still a pretty solid tip, the pipe grip section can grab decent sized fasteners and diameters, the wire notch works, the needlenose teeth are interlocking, and the cutters are sharp as scissors

One of the best however is that slight curve at the end of the needlenose, that's their "3 point contact design" you can grip flat stock and not have it flop around like traditional pliers

At the moment, my Twin Grip is my best....Using it for a lot of different things and it hasn't failed yet!!!!

That ear clamp plier would make a very good zip tie cutter, not as nice as the individual zip tie snips, but it has the cutters on both angles at once.

As for my favorite pair of pliers. It’s gonna have to be my set of xl cobras. The bigger jaw works up to 3.5” and the amount of leverage you can put on them is insane. I mainly bought them for doing a handful of jobs in heavy diesel where you need to hold onto something large and round, like turning shafts or lining up splines, but I’ve found myself using them for filters, larger bolts, hydraulic cylinders, and hydraulic fittings.

Of course I love all my knipex tools, and prefer them greatly over snapon, but some tools are just not made by knipex, like the all in one auto electrical pliers from snapon, which do have a knipex competitor, but not in the same form factor

if you want true 'Needle-Nose' pliers (as opposed to 'Long-Nose'): KNIPEX - 31 11 160 will fill the bill.

Random German here: Your second pronunciation is the correct one. There is no vowel sound between the "K" and the "N".
