People can get mad but it's true. What you said was spot on. They may be "dumb" with book smarts but they are skilled in other ways like the art of making friends in the right places, finding people who can do the work that they can't, taking advantage of people, being manipulative, or just having great timing. "Dumb" people know who to use or who to get close to-to get to the top.

You still get it wrong in the title; Dumb people don't make more than smart people. It should have been "The smartest people aren't the highest earners." Not the same thing. Low paying jobs are not filled by smart people.

Literally, one of Australia's Top 10 Billionaire's became a billionaire from creating a garbage removal business (and not something fancy, literally just a rundown dump-truck that drives around and picks up whatever garbage you need removed). For sure not one of the smartest people, but he provided value where no one else was.

Sir I am an employee, working full time. I am also a self employed, doing income tax returns. Mostly it's a seasonal job but in and off all year I am making money. I am a real estate investor, rented out 4 properties. I do have mutual funds investment and GICs...
It takes time to build this but it's working....the key is consistency....even small investment with long periods will produce good results ❤
