Today I wanted to look and review the top rated Gear from Harbor Freight on a budget. The thing with Harbor Freight is some times you can get something that will last longer than you expect and other times it fails very quickly.

Here is our Amazon page for our favorite gear. We will be adding more products as we find more products we use and love. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

Thanks for the info Jared. You, in my book, have to be one of the most “likable” individuals on YouTube. You’re honest, sincere and genuine. I love your content, video editing and general “real-life” information you provide to the camping & RV Community. Thanks again and God Bless you and the family on your travels 🙏🏼⛺️

Watched your video... I turned out to be a 51 year old Nomad... Scared (yes) but away from abuse... "Truth"... Nothing helped me in this video but it was wonderful! Thank you!

The bug zappers are great. I bought a 3 pack at Costco 5 years ago (Harbor Freight didn't have them back then), and they are still going strong. I hang them on my awning and use them instead of the awning light to keep the bugs away from the door. Never thought about bringing them inside, I am going to have to do that this season!

We love the bug zapper! We hang it inside our hybrid camper and love how we can recharge it during the day and use it at night!

I made up a tool kit for our couple's camper with just about everything from HF. fuses, tape fasteners, multimeter, wire, clamps and a multi-tool all fit in a small tool box. Very handy.

I bought 4 of the lanterns that pull up to turn on. Here in Texas last year we had a 6.5 day ice storm, with no electricity. Those lanterns were awesome. One in the kitchen, one in the bath, one in the living room and one at my bedside. I was so thankful. That twenty dollars was well spent. They are still working.

We use the water filter and the flashlight. I'd like to try the water pump...for water... and get the lanterns for grandkids. They LOVE having their own lights. The bug zapper in the camper would be nice. I spend a great deal of time smashing bugs on the ceiling before going to bed. Thanks for the ideas!

We have used the outside light bug zapper for years… inside! The lamp is waterproof, so you can clean the bugs out under a stream of water. Ours have lasted for a 7 year circumnavigation.

Finally, the bug zapper has made it to a store. I found one in a Walmart in east Texas about two years ago in a display that implied it was something they were testing. Haven't seen it since and have wanted to get another one. The bug zapper does work, and I use the light instead of a flashlight inside the house. Only thing different is mine is orange, not black. The one unhappy feature is that it takes hours to recharge, but I guess that's a good thing cause it means it has a large battery. I can confirm I get at least the 20 hours mentioned here.

Ive used that bug zapper like you, just inside my rv to zap the skeeters before I go to bed. It really works! And that light feature is all I need to get ready for bedtime, saving my rig batteries.

The harbor freight aluminum frame camp chairs are my favorite camp chairs; even though I own much more expensive ones.

Whether you get them from Harbor Freight or Amazon those rubber wheel chocks should be standard equipment for all RVers. In fact if the big name that makes those plastic ones said "We know these suck and we're going to stop making them" I'd actually be more inclined to buy more of their products. The battery powered bug zapper is a nifty idea and I think the tactic to use it overnight to grab the bugs that follow you into the rig is a terrific application - curious to see if it lasts the summer.

I have all of these HF products for our RV except the tote, and couldn't agree more with the utility. Some of the most useful stuff comes up as freebies or steep discounts are the things like bungee cords, zip ties, and don't forget the little lights that double as road hazard lights - every RV'er should have a half dozen of those!

I've had the bug zapper for over a year and used it regularly to kill off the bugs that manage to get inside the camper. Walmart sells the same device. It works very well for what I use it for

We have found some very great values at Harbor Freight too! We have the waterproof tote and the wheel chocks. Love them! Thanks for this honest review of products.

I bought that table a little over a year ago. The table outlasted the cover, but all and all the table has worked out great.

The $5 lantern. I take some aluminum foil and cover up half of it and redirect more light to the area that I want. Fyi
