My first welder was a handed down 20 year old Hobart 440 I believe I would run flux core in it after bout a year it died and so my dad replaced it with this one now I have had used one of these before at my buddies building some horse shelters and they are still standing so I fugured why not but for the price it’s pretty good for me at 15yo and in highschool at a trades school where I’m learning to weld better even though I was welding since 7 years old

But I would rather have the shielding gas
