I used my new one i got for Father's day at work, my partner has dewalt. We had to tap steel beams, i was driving the self tap screws with no issue, he had to pre drill with his dewalt first cause it wouldn't punch through.
Only thing im not confident in is how durable hercules will be in the field.

Price vs performance goes to Hercules. But durability being used by a contractor. That we need to know. I'm a self employed plumber. Use makita 18v drill and impact driver combo for almost 10yrs, the same set. Upgraded to newest 18v set in late 2024. Because I wanted a new set. Old set still 100% capable. Gave to my SIL.

I think the Hercules really shines now that their warranty is much better. Being able to just bring it back to an hf versus shipping to a repair center is a big advantage.
