Earlier this year, I left a job to get away from my bosses, 2 cruel, sadistic bullies who treated me like a slave and once I was free, this is the song I was singing with my head held high.

This song is medicine for the soul. What a beautiful soul this guy had.

A year and a half ago the man I loved very deeply betrayed our marriage vows and left me for another after only 16 months of marriage. It was all I could do to get up in the morning. It took me more than a year to feel like living again. This song spoke volumes to me. Along with God, this song helped me to lift my chin again. I listen to it over and over again.

The song's bridge ("Look all around/there's nothing but blue skies") is simply one of the most glorious passages of music ever recorded.

My son, Justin, would sing this song when he was a little boy, riding his bike up and down the driveway, I would sit on the porch soaking it in, and sing with him, happy memories!!

This song never gets old for me, from the first time I heard it up until now. It is one of those songs which touches something deep inside, and for a second feel the joy of just being, without a care in the world.

I was 5 years old when this song came out and it was a global hit. I was living in Zambia, Africa and it was the song played at parties and weddings!

My mum used to love this song and played it all the time. Rest her soul. She would smile as she danced to it. I sing it whenever life is hard

I sang this song to my favorite cousin at her funeral, March 2021. She was and will always be my favorite cousin. One day on our way to San Francisco on our way to see our favorite ball team, The Giant's, we sang this song together. We both loved it and we loved each other so much. When she found out that she had bileduct cancer it was so far gone. She died 2 weeks later. We never even got to say goodbye to her. 💔 So on the way to her funeral I made up my mind to sing, I Can See Clearly Now. All I could think about was that she could see clearly now and that she was singing, look straight ahead, nothing but blue skies. She was definitely on her way to find the pain free peace that she more than deserved. Here is the rainbow that we both prayed for.🌈 💖 🌠 👭 💔❤ Rest in peace, my Sweet Susie, and I will always love you.💋❤

A very inspiring song, if you feel down, defeated, hurt or just having a bad day, listen carefully to the lyrics and get back on the saddle of life. RIP Johnny Nash

I was 8 years old when he put this out . We were moving to Denver Colorado and this came on the radio just as the Rock Mountains came into view. Such good times and memories . I wish I could feel that way again..

I miss these beautiful, up lifting inspirational songs. Seems so many songs today are so depressing. Still love it in 2023
