Yeah, this is much easier than wrapping it around the string. Much less room for error. I'm gonna try it out next time I restring.

I must be messing up the second kink because every time I try this method it creates a buzz and really mutes my Low E and A string. I’m lefty so I’m doing it in reverse and imagine that’s the issue. Any thoughts? Thanks.
