I though I had found a great eye doctor, she was friendly, knowledgeable, has every test you can do and imaging, is like $115 bucks for the everything exam with the imaging but the problem that seems to be everywhere around me with other doctors I have talked to or seen, they all have eye glass salespeople in their office and push really hard on you buying their $500 glasses. I told her that I just wanted my prescription and she was like "why are you going to buy glasses online?" so she went from nice to rude because I didn't want to buy glasses. I just want a eye doctor and a prescription not a pushy rude salesperson, she even talked about how high her rent is, even charges $55 to get your
. a good eye doctor is like searching for bigfoot.

I went to an eye doctor and asked for a eye exam prescription and they charged for for such exams and I asked for the prescription paper and I didn’t bother to look at it when I got home but it was just the receipt. I emailed them multiple times if they could send it over and no response I don’t feel like going in again to ask for it bc I feel like they’re going to try to sell me contacts instead of just hand over the prescription paper

I just wanted to say that I received an eye exam from an eye mart express near my home and got two pairs of glasses made with that eye exam. Now when I received my new glasses I could see fine at a distance with my new glasses but couldn’t see things up close with them on. The thing I thought was strange was the glasses I replaced I didn’t have that problem with. When I went back and tried to explain to them that I thought there was something wrong they refused to do anything about it. Stating that it was because of my eyes aging. Which didn’t make any sense to me that my eyes would have aged over night or that one pair of glasses would allow me to see both far and near but not my updated ones. So I feel like sometimes you can get a bad eye exam in person also. I had to deal with using my new glasses because I had paid almost $400 for the two pairs that I got. Any thoughts?

I have a question, My daughter is 11 years old and as an 29 year old woman who has never taken an eye exam at her age, my last eye exam was maybe in 2011? Or 2010, so I think her last eyes exam was about 2015. Should I take her to an eye exam?

Problem is, my in person eye doctor is holding my prescription hostage and I can not go anywhere besides there for my glasses/contacts. They refuse to give me my prescription so I can get cheaper options. Also he hired his daughter as front desk person and she never answers the phone and sometimes doesn't show up for work when I drive there. What do you do with no options?

Thank you very much for your presentation. I've bought glasses many times over the years, @ about $700.00 here in Canada. My eyes are not the same ... believe me, I use them all the time. I can't seem to get a pair of progressive glasses that I can see through properly. I'm told that I just have to get used to them. What does that mean?

Great video! I used to order my glasses online and they never fit quite right. I felt like it was worth it because the price was so cheap until the prescription peeled off the lenses! Never again!!! Do you recommend getting an eye exam every year or just when you feel like you need new glasses or contacts?

I often dreamed of working with an OD, on long-term prevention.
That would mean that I sign a contract with you -- where I make my own refraction measurements, and you check for true medical problems.
That would mean that we both succeed with my life time prevention.
I know that Optometry "boards", will never allow you to do that.
That is my, "scary story", for me.

Just saw your video i like it. I wanted to ask you is it ok after 2 exams the Dr tells you that even with the glasses you will still see blurry( these glasses made me see blurry, headaches, nauseous, disoriented pain around my eyes and always tearing) she said my prescription was too strong and she will make it less strong. But still have issues. What are your thoughts please
