Statin drugs were introduced to the market in 1987 when heart disease was the leading cause of death in the U.S. Nearly forty years later, millions of statin users and billions of dollars in statin sales... Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S.

When you can’t even say the name of a product because you will get censored, you know that company controls the narrative!

My LDL is 244. HDL is 72 and Triglycerides 94. I don’t care what studies come out I’ll never ever take a statin.

My doctor said since I refuse to take a statin there's no reason for him to even order a lipid panel blood test. I said "OK". But later I realized, wow! That was a tacit admission that he ONLY looks for opportunities to sell drugs, not for problems in my health.

I went on the 'Air Force Diet' in the early 70s...became the Atkin's Diet later...and lost 35 pounds in 3 months. Saw no reason to stop using it, so I kept the same weight all of these years.

Didn't have any health issues until I got Lyme disease in 1985. When I went to a doctor for the Lyme, he took some blood and told me that my cholesterol was off the charts and gave me a list of foods to eat to bring it down. He also started to write a prescription for statins, but I told him that I didn't want to take any meds. He got annoyed and told me to stick to a strict diet.

So...I tried the diet...skinless chicken, no cheese except the skim kinds, no butter, eggs, cream in my coffee, just small portions of lean meats, etc.

Tried the diet for about a week and then said 'screw this' and went back to my Air Force diet. Figured if I was gonna die, might as well die happy.

I'm over 70 now, still on the Air Force Diet, still the same weight as I was in my 20s and still have no medical issues so far except for the chronic Lyme. I do a lot of gardening, have a large, half-wooded property, so ticks are a problem. But maintaining the property and tending to my garden beds keeps me active, healthy and happy.

I eat mostly just red meat( carnivore), so many people believe you will die of a heart attack, because your cholesterol will be too high, if you eat too much red meat. Ive done my research, so I know better. We need cholesterol! Our brains need cholesterol! Its amazing how brainwashed people are. Theyve heard their whole life to eat fruits and vegis, and not much red meat, yet so many, like me, have healed so many health issues, by eating mostly meat, specifically, red meat!
Historically, when tyranical governments want to control societies, they limit their ability to consume meat.

Santiago, Chile🇨🇱 here!
I find astonishing that even a post meal walk or changing some of the oils you use in your kitchen, are more effective reducing stroke and heart attack risks than the medications doctor have been proscribing and people have been paying for all those years

Greetings from Chile, South America. Great video

64 yr. old female. Have had TC of 335 and LDL around 225 . I've ate low carb for years. My doctor and I agreed for me to try a low fat diet. Egg whites only, oatmeal, white fish, boneless skinless chicken, my only fat was 1 tbs of olive oil on my big salad I ate for lunch and 5 walnuts. We retested in a couple of month and my TC cholesterol went up to 436 and LDL to to 335. I was totally shocked and then just started laughing. I went back to my normal eating and it went back to normal. Very weird.

I believe that primary care physicians in clinical settings are being over-watched by managers who push them to prescribe statins based on numbers, and models, but not actual family history of cardiovascular disease. My PCP put me on a statin because my triglycerides were at the upper end of the “no action level, ” after a fasting blood draw, based on a “computer model.” Then I hear that there is evidence that, “fasting raises triglyceride levels” in the blood.” Then I hear that using a statin “raises your risk of developing dementia by 25% over a 10-year period.” My mother just DIED of dementia after being on a statin for about 7 years after a heart valve replacement. Anecdotal, I know. I refused to take the statin, and my PCP backed off.

The goal of Big Pharma is NOT to cure a disease, but to make you a customer for the rest of your life.

Hi there! Greetings from Singapore 😄

For the last 2 years I've been told (3 times) that I seriously need to go on statins due to a 'higher than normal' LDL score.

Nope... I'm not gonna do it. I've been on a low-carb diet for 4-5 years now and ALL my other vital signs are good (blood test results).

Thank you, Sir, !
It is because of channels like yours that I am able to proceed with confidence.
Otherwise I could be cowed into submission by the healthcare industry as so many others are 😢

Whidbey Island. I got drawn into PCSK9 inhibitors after failing statins due to muscle pain. Not taking any of that sh** anymore. LDL Cholesterol 251, Cholesterol is 326, Triglycerides 127 (used to be over 300), HDL 52 (working on it!). No longer pre diabetic. Low carb is the way

Minnesota. My cholesterol and LDL has risen steadily since menopause. I refused statins, but did do a cardiac calcium scan score 0!

It is really disturbing that pharmaceuticals are still withholding or downplaying the negative side effects and risks of statins from us.

I took statins briefly about 20 years ago and immediately noticed muscle weakness. I thought we were supposed to tell our doctors if that happened, but they didn't want to hear about it. During a brief hospital stay a few years ago, the doctor noticed my cholesterol levels and gave me statins while I was there. Not surprisingly, the muscle weakness reappeared. When I mentioned it to my doctor, he just said that he could prescribe a different one. I threw away the prescription. My dad (now 94) also noticed the weakness, so he stopped taking his statins a long time ago.
I will give my doctor credit, though - he didn't push the vaccine on me. I'm so glad I didn't take that either.

If you eat Healthy Fats, you will have high LDL. But that is, Larger Particles, NOT multiple, smaller, sticky ones. That's the difference. On a recent doctor visit, my GP freaked because my LDL was over 400! But, he was baffled that my HDL was 58 & my Triglycerides were 80. He prescribed statins! I threw it in the trash on the way out of his office!

The same results are in the Women's Health Initiative study (independent of pharma). A female friend, prescribed cholesterol lowering meds, had pain and weakness in her muscles as a 'side effect'. She stopped taking the medication but debilitating pain and weakness persisted. Her doctor recommended basic pain meds. I did a tiny amount of research and found that those meds lower coenzyme Q10, which is essential for cellular energy production. She started taking coenzyme Q10 and the pain/weakness symptoms disappeared within a couple of days. Yet her own doctor didn't even look into the possible, basic physiological pathway which might have caused the symptoms.
