Hey everyone, this is just a quick update video explaining my switch to Android and the Google Pixel 7! I want to make a bunch of videos on this phone and OS, so please let me know if there's any specific types of videos you'd like to see over the next few months!

I switched to android and never looked back. Never had issues getting text messages either. I'd look into the RCS settings on Messages as it should translate the iMessage experience for you. (But only you, unfortunately, since Apple doesn't play well with others)

I’m glad you made this brave move! I actually have been thinking of doing the same recently! I’ve been a lifelong apple user, and I want more features, customizability, and a hole punch intead of the massive notch on my 11 pro max. I wanna start off with something cheap like an s10+, even though software support is probably gone by now. Especially with apple having the big dynamic island which I don’t like now, no sideloading coming to the us, and not much freedom besides being able to change the lock screen. And apple’s pairing parts to the phone to prevent anyone from repairing the phone.

Hey, may I ask where you are getting your wallpapers from? All of your videos have really nice ones in them, and I was wondering if there is a certain app/website that they are from.

Thanks for the video, would love to see more about how the last 2 months has gone and how you’ve replaced some of the iPhone experiences you were used to prior to switching.

Great for you to have made the change! I was just recently thinking of switching from an old iphone 8 to a pixel 7, im mostly curious about the software compared to the ios that we know and love, is it clean and functional?

did your passwords from your iPhone transferred to your pixel.

I think you should review the Lenovo Legion Phone if you can. I think it’s a really good phone for gaming just like the PC version.

1:05 that intro was way too loud.. i only upped the volume to your mic level. otherwise i would've lowered it for the music.

For all ecosystem stuff, KDE connects solves all the issues. But if you have a Samsung laptop and phone, they work seamlessly like Apple as well. Google now has nearby share (airdrop for android) for both Android and windows PC. And for imessage on Android, there are many options, but Sunbird seems to be the best one so far.

Please do a real world ...running and listening to music through watch air pods...Loading songs/spotify all options, before you head out, then out running and maybe include how easy to switch tracks with air pods, and finally recharge time. Thanks.

One thing you will notice is that apple gives 5 years of software updates and 6 years of security updates. I android NONE OF THIS?

It’s not special, it’s just new to you and that’s what you like it. Same thing happened to me two years ago…, only I went from android (Note 10 plus) to iPhone (13 Pro Max).

Both iPhones and Androids are great, but both iMessage and the ecosystem are keeping me in
Yes I know, 3rd party cross-platforms messaging apps exist and should be the default here in North America imo, but unfortunately they are not
