Just ordered one, looks great. Decades ago, I had the original Leitz model (I think I bought the last new one), for which I paid something like $40. They now sell used for $200, and this one looks much easier to use and install (doesn't need the extra piece for the baseplate). Looking forward to trying it!

Do you need an add-on to the base plate to hold the film up in place? I see the original quick load kit has 2 parts.
