Taiwan tensions: Chinese jets encircle Taiwan to 'send message'

Security expert Justin Crump explains the latest on tensions in the South China Sea, which have ramped up between China and Taiwan since the visit of US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

China is practising live-fire drills, essentially war simulations, around Taiwan and has even been firing missiles over the island to simulate hitting US carrier groups in the Pacific.
