Tensions have escalated sharply in the Asia pacific after the American house speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan. The Beijing has started its military exercises including the live fire drills in at least about six zones surrounding Taiwan as a retaliation to Nancy Pelosi's visit.

It is true that both Taiwan and Ukraine conflicts are connected to each other and if one erupts into a war with NAT/US, the other one will as well. But apart from that, everything is different. Taiwan is an island with half the population of Ukraine, while the PRC´s population is almost then times that of Russia. This island can be choked off easily by the Chinese navy, so the US would have to be involved from day one.
