Waves Basics

This video will discuss some of the basic theory of transverse and longitudinal waves. It will review the difference between wave motion and the motion of the particle as well as go through the terminology needed to describe waves. There are some easy sample questions at the end to check your understanding. This is part of Theme C.2 in the IB Physics Syllabus, though it may be expected knowledge depending on where you are studying.
