Chest minecart is actually really good for auto farms. Alot of item collection systems are done through a chest minecart running with a bunch of hoppers.

A recovery compass is a special compass that can be crafted with a compass and shards from the deep dark (i forgot the name) the recovery compass let's you find your items upon death.

I use a clock constantly. It is insanely helpful to people who are underground

I have used most of theese in survival:
-clock for telling the time when underground
-chest minecart for transporting my ores to the surface
-recovery compass. I actually never got to a sculk biome in vanilla survival but if I would then I probably would have used it. You can't imagine the frustratin when you die and when you respawn you don't know where the hell you were if you've never experienced it.
-and last but deffinietly least: bettroot soup. I looted 6 beetroot from a village once and I had a leftover plate from a sus stew and it was more convinient maikng it into a soup. But that's it.

Copper is a great building block though, and not enough people seem to realize that in a game about building, being a nice building block IS a good use.

I used to use clock while I was mining, chest mine carts to move messages and items through the server, recovery compass at my spawn to find where I died more easily, and I remember watching dantdm showing the latest update with beetroot soup

Copper is amazing for building and half of all my recent builds have them
If it wasn't the first ore in forever nobody would have complained
clock is good to counter phantoms when you are in the mines and the phantoms glitch through the walls? Interior decoration? Whatever young me for some reason couldn't live without a clock
Chest minecart is incredibly useful for a lot of technical stuff but that goes over my head so won't argue here
Recovery compass leads you to your last death. Incredibly niche but will saves the pain of all your best gear despawning when if happens
Beetroot soup, has been here forever but shall be banished to the pre 1.14 nether for ethernal suffering in the eyes, with no exist in sight

Chest minecart and recovery compass is really useful not even close to useless. And the copper u can use it to lit the creeper to charge creeper and u can display it on ur base like a collection of rare mobs. SO dont judge too quickly

Recovery compass is not useless for example if you die you can use the recovery compass it will point just where you die like if you had recovery compass in your chest then if you die use it it will point just where you die

Copper is not useless for example you can use copper for satisfying decorations and put honey comb on it so it will not get oxidize you can use copper to make an lightning rod and what is lighting rod well lighting rod is really good for making some decorations too like haunted house but what does lighting rod do well use it if its raining beacuse if you use it while raining it will get struck by lighting you can use it for challenges like 100 ways to die
