"Suspicious stew is not your dodgy uncle"
Won't lie that was a good one

10:11 slow falling arrows are actually used as debuff in pvp. Basically your can't critical hit, you can't sprint-jump and you get tossed around in the air like a chicken.

People seem to use Spyglasses a lot, they're just fun even without a real "use"

"The only reason you craft fireworks is to use them with your Elytra."

I probably craft them more often to use with a crossbow. Nothing scares someone like 9.5 hearts of AOE damage.

Suspicious stew is actually static, rather than random! Dandelions and Orchids always give saturation. Really makes me wish we got the Moo-bloom. A Dandelion cow you could milk. Couldn't Dream of how they'd have implemented that.

Edit: Apparently Mooblooms would have had Buttercups, and not Dandelions! No intent of misinforming!

3:25 if you craft the stew yourself you can choose the effect by using different kinds of flowers

Personally, in my honest opinion, there's nothing wrong with a few not very useful items just to give the game a bit more flavor, though they certainly shouldn't get out of hand, but MC is NOWHERE NEAR that point

Imagine horse armour exclusive enchantments,
That would be cool

Slow falling arrows are actually really good that is why they are one of the main arrows used in crystal pvp. Since you fall slower with slow falling its easier to get a crystal off on them.

I'm just saying that the bats could've taken the exact role of the glare.

I think useless items are good for decorating. Like putting them in item frames to represent things, or you can make a decorative plant with a dead bush in a pot and a leaf block on top of that.

Honestly, with most of these things, the "uselessness" is completely subjective. Different people play differently, and find different amounts of use out of different things.
I've played many a survival world where I had to rely on mushroom stew as my food for a while, for example. Celebrating with fireworks is really fun -- I still do so all the time, even after Elytras. And I'm fairly sure the friendly-tipped arrows have a lot of use for mapmakers.
It's just like the mob vote, where people kept calling the mobs they didn't vote for useless. Each of them were very useful to different types of players. For me, the Glare easily would have been the most useful, and the Copper Golem probably the least, though I recognize that the usefulness varies depending on playstyle.

I always keep a box of poison potatoes around because one day, they’re gonna do something and you’ll need them. 👍🏻

The spyglass is useful in caves for spotting ores. The lighting and distance makes it hard to tell what you’re seeing sometimes but if the chunk is loaded you can use the spyglass to see something across a giant pond of lava and it helps you decide whether it’s worth going and getting whatever it is you saw. Good for spotting high ceiling geodes too.

I think these "useless" features have their place in the game- all sorts of games contain things you can't really interact with solely for flavor purposes, and for the right players, that adds some charm.

They have the invisibility arrows to have consistency, and you would probably be complaining if they didn’t have it.

Yo tipped arrows are nice, at least arrows of weakness. MUCH easier and cheaper way to get the weakness effect onto zombie villagers. Basically turns 9 potions into _192_ if you use your cauldron correctly. Like in general it's just a much more resource efficient way of getting status effects, but weakness for curing is just the most obvious one (cuz of Silentwisperer)
Edit: 3 potions gives a stack of tipped arrows. I just used the number 9 with dispenser slots in mind, since you can pack a ton more arrows into a dispenser than splash potions, for a curing station for trade discounts

Tipped arrows are actually really useful. Literally stackable potions, and it’s incredibly easy to make ones on bedrock edition. Also harming 2 arrows deal a lot of damage

Instant damage 2 tipped arrows, killed a full prot 4 netherite player (with a shield), in just 2 hits, so tipped arrows are actually op, if u use them right

When is there ever an opponent or friendly you want to fire a jump boost arrow? 2b2t, which would (or at least used to) mess with hacked client movement,
