Chrisjen and the Roci being in the same area of space makes some sense. Mao selected the location for the meeting with Chrisjen and he was on his way to Io. The Roci is on the way to Io. That still allows a lot of area depending on which directions they are approaching from, but it's still reduces the possible locations for both ships to a general area of the solar system.

16:50 😂 I'm not gonna lie, that was adorable.

Strickland (what a creepy psycho 😕) is in Io, where our crew detects his suspicious activity: Mao is on his way there when Chrisjen meets with him and so is our crew.

Chrisjen and Bobby escape on the Razorback, Julie's ship which makes sense to be there. And Bobby's comms are encrypted only for MCRN ships in proximity (or a legitimate salvage like the Roci). I love how it all ties together in a way that feels believable, even in the vastness of space.

Anna's character introduction is perfect. They give you just enough to immediately pull you in. I think you'll appreciate what the show does with her. The Expanse succeeds where most shows fail when handling a religious character.

I know others have said it, but I'll also take a moment to appreciate the beauty that is the relationship between Amos and Prax 😍

Also Amos is a "talented amateur" violence is like his hobby, his day job is fixing fusion drives. But Bobbie is a pro, her life is all about violence. In a fight, she'd rip him apart.

The scene where Christian was trying to whistle was just so funny because have you ever tried to whistle when your tense...:)I was also amazed to see how tactical Holden was. What a plan to save them.

The Roci space choreography durning the rescue/ attack was some of the more unique in sci-fi. The overall understanding of physics in this show is outstanding. Season 3 is the physics season in my opinion.

Love your reactions and discussion so much. A fight between Bobbie and Amos would be absolutely terrifying. I might give him the edge though only because I get the impression that he has more experience with real fighting and killing. Anna, aka the Reverend Doctor, is indeed a fantastic addition to the show.

The blue-armed boy is Katoa. Mei and Katoa are friends because they have the same genetic condition. Prax catches up with Katoa's father in episode Cascade on Ganymede, he's the one that hits Prax and Amos holds him down.

So may spoilers, so little time. There are a bunch of things you touched on that I think you're gonna love when they play out. All I'll say is that Anna is a complex, human, religious character, written with sensitivity and not as a stereotype. I mean, she's a married, lesbian Pastor. And I love that the show just states it without making a big deal out of it or having it be a plot point.

Elizabeth Mitchell, one more example of very on-point casting. Another one coming up pretty soon, just a few more episodes. Coincidentally, and totally unrelated, it's that same episode when I can finally point something out that Matt said a while back that had me in stitches. Ah, to keep that spoiler bottled up for so long, it hurts!

Katoa (Mei's friend), was mentioned by his father, Basia to Prax and Amos in S2. Basia was the guy that told them about the chicken man. Loved Mitchell in LOST...especially her and Sawyer.

As a parent, I get why Prax went with saving Bobby and Chrisjen. While he definitely wants to save his daughter, right now he's dealing with the unknown. Will she be alive? Will she be turned into a Caliban? Will he find her in one of those vac-cubes like he found the other kid on Ganymede? Also Mei has been sick all her life. Nothing like that feeling of helplessness to make one want to help where they can.
So 'IFF' (identify friend or foe) ... will Bobby prove to be a friend to Amos or a Foe? Stay tuned ... more to come!

The seats in the Razorback really did spin 360 degrees and were computer controlled. Members of the cast and crew visited the set during production wanting rides.

Great reaction. The writing on this show is so good. Anything that seems like too much of a coincidence, such as Bobbie and Chrisjen meeting up with the crew of the Roci, is actually happening for a subtle reason. They are hinting at the existence of higher powers at work just like they did with Nico's supposed chance meeting with Bobbie on Earth and him vanishing as he did to slyly suggest that he might have been more than human. By the way, the spirit of Julie Mao is still with us, in a way, since it was her racing ship, the Razorback, which allowed Draper and Avasarala to escape so perhaps Miller is also still watching over our heroes.

Katoa is Mei's best friend from Ganymede.
They have the same genetic disease and had been being treated by Dr. Strickland on Ganymede their whole life.
We seen his Father attack Prax on Ganymede when he first got there.
Prax promised him that he'd look for Katoa too.
Basia (Katoas dad) is the one who told the them how to find Roma, the chicken guy.
